After the drawing was done in gesso on a wooden board with English newspapers crumpled up,
touches were added with colored pencils.
The reversal of ground and pattern occurs here and there in the painting.

図面が入手できたのでマチエール研究のための習作を作成しました。
木の板にジェッソで英字新聞をぐしゃぐしゃに貼り付けてベースを作りました。
不透明水彩とグレーズを繰り返して描画した後、色鉛筆でタッチを加えています。
植栽は部分部分で地と柄を反転させて表現しています。
